When I was approached by a homeowner to document the process of construction for his new family home, I was intrigued by the prospect of documenting architecture through an unconventional means that focused more on process rather than product.

The homeowner expressed how lucky his family felt to be able to participate in the design process for a custom home with skilled architects, and wanted to commission photographs that would capture the progress of his home at various critical stages of construction.

I visited the property as the final form of the house began to take shape over several months in 2021-2022.
