Camp Madron
Deep in the forest of southwestern Michigan lies Camp Madron, a collection of cabin properties on a 300 acre property surrounding a private lake that was once a Boy Scout camp.
This project is a contemporary summer home for a couple and their extended family to enjoy time together throughout the year.
The project is defined largely by a composition of flat and sloped horizontal roof lines with wood soffits that create an inviting glow after dark and generate a variety of interior spaces from a grand living space to the intimate office on the third floor, perched among the trees like a treehouse.
